3.0 out of 5 stars Book for beginners, 20 Dec 2002
This book is a fairly standard fly tying book. It has a good section on hooks sizes and makes with some basics on materials. The fly patterns are shown clearly in colour photos but these are in a different section from the pattern and tying methods.

The tying of each fly is well described but a lot of the patterns are so simmilar that the book doesn't need to show how to tie each one. Not a bad book to start with.
