An intelligently written book, and a non-condescending read, this uses an unorthodox approach (East and West understandings) to guide the reader through self acceptance and self understanding.

You do not have to believe in his viewpoints to learn from this book. You do not need to be a fan of either East or West medicine. You just have to allow your eyes to be kept wide open.

It has educated me with powerful tools to deal with life. For example, I used to be motivated by anger. Sometimes in positive ways. Usually in negative ways. I used to have viewpoints based on blame. Which was destructive to myself and destructive to relationships.

I now do neither. I just feel. And accept. And Live.

I thank John for that insight and support.

I hope it can be as enlightening to others as it has been to myself and my best friends!

John Ruskan's wonderful book 'Emotional Clearing' has changed my life, perhaps more than anything else I've read.

Most of us learn from early childhood to seek to avoid 'negative' feelings, such as anger and fear. John teaches us that by simply allowing our feelings to be rather than being motivated by them, they are released. By living according to this principle, I have been able to realise deeper levels of happiness, and am less troubled when I do experience 'negative' feelings.

I would recommend this book to anyone. Thank you, John!

This book brings together lots of diverse ideas, and will certanly fill in the gaps if you are new
to this subject matter as I was.
The overall package is bolted together very well,
I wouldn't say its an enthralling read, but I can't give it anything other than 5 stars:-
It does exactly what it says on the tin.
