3.0 out of 5 stars quotes, quotes and more quotes - but in what context?, 17 Jul 1999
By A Customer
As a reasonably new fan I was eager to get stuck into this book to discover more about the band. I was unfortunately left somewhat disappointed as the book simply gives pages and pages of quotes, crudely categorised. Without the full context of the quote it is sometimes hard to understand what exactly James, Richey, Nicky and Sean are on about. Or is that simply the attraction of the band in the first place.

2.0 out of 5 stars this was dissapointing, 18 Mar 2002
By A Customer
as a big fan of the Manic Street Preachers, I was dissapointed. there are only basic quotes and no real insight into the manics. there are mistakes and would not really be of any use to anyone. however, there are some good pictures.

overall, i got the impression that it was just written to cash in on them, as they were at their most popular then.
