This beautifully illustrated guidebook is delightful just to look at. It also contains essential information on types of fairies - Pixies, Leprechauns, Sprites, fairy kings and queens, house fairies, fairy treasure, dangerous fairies and changelings - and where to go to see them. It informs the reader that not all fairies are good and sweet, indeed, some are quite wicked and will steal you away given the chance! There are brief outlines of traditional folktales from around Europe and tips on how to behave towards fairy folk. This book will make you wonder whether these creatures are more than just a legend, so, repeat after me . . . I do believe in fairies!
