A lovely book which encourages little ones to talk about how they feel. I bought this book for my 4 year old granddaughter after her own pet had passed away.
She talked about how sad she felt, just like the children in the story and how they would always remember old Roly even after they got another cat.
She now talks happily about her own lost pet and how she will always remember him.
I feel this book helped her to understand about loss and it remains one of her favourite books.
