Product Description

Ben Spencer is the ambitious young owner of The Blood Partnership, an online property marketing company. Over the past few months, he has become heavily involved with every member of the wealthy property - developing Westlake family - including becoming engaged to beautiful young Caitlin Westlake - and now he's beginning to regret it. Things go from bad to worse when Ben's own family are targeted by the Westlakes. Now, he must choose a side and it seems the only way out is death - but whose will it be?

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping From The Start, 6 Jul 2007
Seth Garner's first novel is a face-paced read. Completely captivating; it takes the reader from the known into the unknown and scatters twists and turns as if they had been pulled out of a hat.

`The Blood Partnership' embarks on a quest for the elusive truth behind murders and kidnap and is set in ad-land London and the countryside of Cambridgeshire. It will keep you on the edge of your seat as the narrative quickens by each turn of the page.

An excellent crime thriller - I highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dark, disturbing and deeply compelling, 26 Jul 2006
Seth Garner's imagination is frightening - he can really see the dark side of humanity and bring it to chilling life. Every page packs a real punch, with plenty of fiendish twists along the way. If you like dark thrillers that grab you by the scruff of the neck and never let go, this one's for you. But if you're not sleeping too well to begin with, best avoid it.

5.0 out of 5 stars An absorbing, taught thriller worthy of a second read, 31 May 2006
By Joanne24 "Joanne24" (Hertfordshire) - See all my reviews
Originally I heard about Seth Garner from my local paper and, liking the sound of his debut book, gave it a try. Working in marketing myself, I was interested to read a thriller set in the industry - and I wasn't disappointed. Mr Garner starts the book with a bang and gradually builds the tension and piles on the pressure to his main character.I won't write what happens as that would be telling, but suffice to say there are more than a few unexpected twists and turns along the way, I can tell you!! The writing style reminded me of one of my favourite writers: Patrick Redmond, especially when he was at his best with 'The wishing game' or 'The puppet show'. It was a real 'find' and at 230-ish pages, a pacy read! I'll look out for more by Mr Garner, as the article mentioned he has another book out in August.
