I found this novel to be captivating from the very start and it kept me guessing until the end. The characters were memorable especially the heroine who came alive with her passion for life. Her vulnerability and less than perfect behavior made her very human and easy to identify with.

The subplot had an unexpected twist and was quite surprising.

Overall, I found it to be exactly what I hope to find in a romance novel.
