5.0 out of 5 stars Hard to put down!, 27 Feb 2000
By A Customer
It didn't take me very long to read this book, because I could hardly put it down. Annie has gone to stay with her grandmother who lives in the town Stillwater. While she's locked in her room, Annie meets Amy, who seems friendly enough. This book involves a girl who disappeared the year before and is presumed dead, her scared mother, a drunk father, a grandmother, a girl who feels like she hardly has any friends, a mysterious biker, and the Grady twins; who seem like real gentlemen, but are evil. It's great, so either read it or buy it now!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best, 15 May 2007
By Star_Sea "Xing" (Salisbury, England) - See all my reviews
(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
The author does a good job of keeping the reader in suspense, with some believable red herrings, but there are better titles in the Point Horror Unleashed series. What I most objected to was the lazy attempt to make the story sound British when it's obvious the story was originally set in the US - a British town hasn't had a 'sheriff' since the Middle Ages! It was really irritating and distracted from the story: next time, just keep the American setting, we're not stupid.
