This book is the rolls royce of all bird books, it covers finches from all parts of the world, each plate comes with an indepth discription and map as well as a discription of the birds habits. When I was a bird breeder this book was like a bible and I was able to supply the bird with the conditions that were most natural to there species.

If you are any way in to birds, bird watching or bird breeding this an excellent book to have in the book case. It's a little too heavy to take on holiday but it's a great reference book. It's one of the books I have open most often. When I was younger I bred various finches also.
