They're totally correct. Writing short stories is an art.

Shame it's usually po-faced angst with every word wrenched from the author's tortured (not nearly enough, if you ask me) soul, or a pretentious slim volume* being ostentatiously read on the train. By a git.

If you want to see it done properly, read this.

Perfectly constructed. Not a single word wasted or out of place. Dead funny. Dead cool. Seth Enslow would read this.

Honest, if you can't think of a present for anyone, give them this. Guaranteed no-one else will have thought of it and it'll just be be the best thing they've ever got.

*Yeah, I did nick that from PG Wodehouse...
