5.0 out of 5 stars New, yet traditional in the "Dragon's Milk" books., 5 April 1997
By A Customer
Lyf, Kaeldra's foster sister is now forced to flee, because of her green eyes which link her to dragons. Frail Lyf, and Kaeldra's son, Owyn, manage to escape hunters who are after them. Now they must take the draclings they found, to the last mother dragon. This is the third book in the greatest fantasy trilogy written. Once again, Susan Fletcher manages to write a thrilling book of dragons. She brings back old characters, and introduces new ones. The story is new and fresh, but has the traditional feeling of "Dragon's Milk". This book can be read as it's own story, or as a part of the trilogy. It's a great story either way, but is more exciting to read along with the others.
