4.0 out of 5 stars to free what is wild, in the heart of a child - so I can be me, just me, 30 Sep 2006
This is a charming and well illustrated rhyming story about a young girl who knows what her different internal experiences feel like. She expresses them as a tiger, a dolphin, a mustang, a condor and others. It is a wonderful real story and very touching. I would have given this five if the illustrations had been more suitable for very young children (they are beautifully done but my 3 year old would get spooked by them)Highly recommended espacially for the spiritual side in all of us. I only wish they did it for boys too.
