Product Description

Product Description

Chronicles the possibly flawed FBI investigation into the death of a White House advisor in 1993.

From the Publisher

William Sessions, Former Director of the F.B.I.:
"Christopher Ruddy has detailed a significant array of facts and issues involving the death of Mr. Foster. His work is serious and compelling. While enduring great criticism, he has tenaciously argued a persuasive case that the American public has not been told the complete facts of the case.

Mr. Ruddy has carefully avoided drawing undue inferences about the death. His reporting raises serious concerns about the handling of the Foster case. It is legitimate to question the process employed by authorities to make their conclusions."

5.0 out of 5 stars JFK.meets Elvis on Mars---Washington Post Exclusive., 11 Aug 2000
By J. lewis (Wales) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I very much enjoyed Mr.Ruddy's book.It proved to me that there was a totally bungled police investigation and that gave some members of The Whitehouse Team(Bill and Hillary's closest chums)the opportunity to remove the various documents that could cause(at best)embarrassment.Whether or not Mr.Foster was murdered remains unproved but enough questions were raised by this book, for an investigation by qualified but non-political experts to be instigated... I look forward to not only reading Mr.Ruddy's next book but also the subject matter assuming the press have not destroyed his reputation as they have with so many who express the opinion of the people.

1.0 out of 5 stars A Bunch of Hogwash, 5 Sep 1999
By A Customer
Unsubstantiated claims that have all been later refuted. A partisan attempt to make a tragic and sad incident into political fodder. This author will sink to the lowest levels to make a buck. Read "Anatomy of a Scandal" and if you still believe Christopher Ruddy then I have a pyramid scheme you might be interested in where you can make tons of money for doing practically nothing! Oh, and I got a kick out of the review that mentions that everyone from "Rush Limbaugh to Jerry Falwell" believes Ruddy - gee what a broad spectrum of people! Must cover at least... gee... I don't know... three people?

5.0 out of 5 stars I not a Republican, but I still believe Ruddy, 2 Sep 1999
By A Customer
Yes, it is true, Ruddy is "associated" with Right Wing "elements," and this has brought on the ire of The Democratic Party, and especially that funny-talkin' bald headed guy from Louisiana. But even if only 10% of the dozens of discrepencies detailed by Ruddy are true, the American public should clamor for a full-scale investigation. Like the "Zodiac" killings in California, there are too many things that 'just don't add up.'
