5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant, witty and compelling story of East-End thugery, 22 Jan 2001
By A Customer
Someone call Richard Curtis, this book should be on the big screen! More about loveable small-time crook, Nicky Burkett fresh out of prison and trying to go straight - no chance! Great East-End street talk, humour and violence and set in E17 the home of my birth. If you enjoyed 'Lock Stock' then you will love all 3 of J.C's yarns - buy them NOW!

5.0 out of 5 stars First rate account of london street life in an area I live i, 16 Oct 2000
By Chosroes "sassy" (chingford, london,uk) - See all my reviews
This is a thouroughly enjoyable yarn about a typical east london lad- I ve had a few mates like him and I can vouch for the authenticity of the lingo. Good plot and very fast paced - buy for a taste of east london street life.
