At the beginning you think that Bessie will always be a lonely child. Then her Grandma comes and plays with her. In the middle you feel that Bessie is so sad because she won't see her grandma again.(Her grandma has died). At the end it makes you feel happy again because Bessie has her own daughter who is like her grandma. Books should have a happy ending. In a way her grandma is born again. Sue Limb has written a very good story.
