I drive on the continent for a living.I found Fodors exploring Germany by accident.I have found it a good source of information for my guided tours of Germany.The picture it paints is a fair one, telling the facts of an area fairly, even if it is a critical view. The only fault I have found is that as an exploring guide it does tend to focus on the political past instead of what a tourist will be looking for.Some political stuff is obviously unavoidable in a country with Germany's past I know,slightly less and this would be one of the best touring books I have read.
