Good for introducing VB6/ASP developers to the new platform. You won't find black belt programming here but that's not the goal on something with a title like this. It's a good kick start, just that.

I have always held the Sams 'Teach Yourself' books in high regard, but this book is one big error. Not at all what you would what from a beginners book. Disjointed, Unclear and with no real goal.

I bought this book and found it really helpful in explaining the basics of .NET ASP programming. Better for beginners who want an understanding of the basics before picking up a 'Heavier' manual. My advice is buy buy buy........
