If you've never used IIS before you'll need some sort of reference guide. This book has it all, for the very basic understanding of IIS to the most advanced level I need it for, plus more. With this book on my shelve I know that I'll need no other reference to IIS. It's well written, and very easy to understand. Nice work Gerry.

I guess I was looking for a book that was a bit more past entry level. 80% of what is in the book you can work out by messing around with IIS anyway. I was really looking for a book that was much more techincal and had more about what can go wrong with the server and how to handle it, what the tricks are and what cleaver things can be done with it. More about different ways of setting it up (Intranet style or ISP style etc)

Then again, perhaps there is much less to IIS that I thought.

I think its a good book for anyone who has never worked with IIS and has no idea about web servers.
