With most books, once you have read through the thing it is redundant and you go out and buy the next level of book for the subject. I knew nothing about SQL Server when I started this book and now I develop VB databases in SQL Server as if I have known it all my life.

After I started working with SQL Server every day the book stayed on my desk and was able to supply me with all the answers to syntax/error messages/general development questions that I had. This could be the most useful book I have ever bought.

An excellent beginners book - IF you stick to the 21 days.

Read in consistency and you will know a lot about this powerful system.. Then you just have to practice on it.....

I was in the middle of the MOC SQL 7.0 class and being a newbie, my brain was feeling like mush. On the second day the instructor recommended this book. I checked out the reviews. This book has made it so easy to understand everything that is going on in class. I'm not of fan of "Learn x in x Days", but this book is awesome!!! I highly recommend it if you're new to SQL Server!

This is a superb book and have had many good night revising SQL. This is not enough for the exam but is an excellent base line for it. I would recommend this to any one.
