She knew all of the 13 senior judges and many of the other scores of law enforcers who have been massacred by the Mafia. She knows she is top of the list, the next to become one of the "illustrious corpses". It is only the perverted Italian family value system which has protected her, as a woman - so far. She was one of the original instigators of the Maxi Trials, and her story features the people she and her colleagues went after, the Men of Honour, the Mafia leaders who control the world's largest international criminal entity from the shabby towns and villages of southern Italy.
