4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 29 Mar 2005
By A Customer
Web of dreams is a truely touching novel that pulls my heartstrings even now after reading it as many times as I have. The tale of Heaven's mother - Leigh and how her life changed when her mother left her father for the riches and splendour of Farthinggale Manor and Tony Tatterton. This tale touches even the most cold-blooded of people because it follows the thoughts of one young lady through the two most important years of her life. For those (like me) who read this novel AFTER reading the Saga will know the outcome of the story and how Leigh survives by looking to the future and keeping little Troy company, but still there are a few surprises hidden deep within the walls of Farthinggale Manor. In some ways it makes more sense to read this afterward because the prologue and epilogue of the story make more sense afterward. So what are these surprises? Well without ruining the whole plot I can safely say that readers who know the basic plotline of this story will be shocked as what they were lead to believe in "Heaven", "Dark Angel", "Fallen Hearts" and "Gates of Paradise" is not necessarily the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I will leave it to you to decide on your thoughts. As for me, I Love this book and could not put it down.

Web of Dreams is the sad, but a beautiful story, about Heaven's mother,Angel who if you remember died in child birth. The story tells us exactly what really happened, before Heaven's birth. The truth about the young, beautiful, rich girl named Leigh, who died at the age of fourteen.

5.0 out of 5 stars easily my favourite out of all V.C Andrews' novels
This for me is the most touching of all of Andrews work. If only it could be made into a long captivating feature film, which if casted correctly would be a certain hit. Read more
