4.0 out of 5 stars Paris culture? Museums? WHATEVER!!!, 28 Jun 2001

Fans of the tv show Clueless (and the film) will love this book. Granted, when you first start to read it the original language and style it's written in (Cher's point of view) can be a bit...uh, confusing? But it doesn't take long to get into this story because I then couldn't put it down!!! Cher's a rich girl from Beverly Hills - we're talking mansions, computer aid to match outfits in the morning and an incredibly gorgeous step bro Josh (just check out the cover!) Unfortunately, Josh is in Paris. So Cher decides to surprise him. Tagging behind areher true blues (best buds to us) Dionne and Tye. They find that Paris is the place to shop and Cher also TRIES to help the lovelifes of her cousins, who they're staying with. And Josh is with another girl. He couldn't be cheating on her, could he? As Cher would say: AS IF!

A truly enthralling read for true 'bettys' everywhere!

4.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish? As if!, 7 Jun 1999
By A Customer
I would just like to say-I am the first person to review this! This is a brilliant book and combines comedy, friendship and romance. Its better if you have seen the original film as then you understand all the phrases and jokes they use. The book is based around Cher,a spoilt rich girl and her best friend Dionne who is equally spoilt and rich. The book also envolves their "friend" Amber who is not very popular but hilarious. They go to Paris to pop a surprise visit on Josh,Cher`s new boyfriend. When they get there they set off in search of him,(after shopping first of course). Then,Cher suspects Josh is two-timing her. A hilarious lovable book that makes you want to read the rest of the series.Any other Clueless fans out there? E-mail me!
