1.0 out of 5 stars Do NOT buy this book, 6 April 2001
By A Customer
This book claims to be all about positive reinforcement, and yet the first thing it advises you to buy is a choke chain. Outdated attitudes like these are the reason there are so many so-called 'problem dogs' in the world. Buy 'The Dog Listener' instead - it will be much less stress and much more successful for you and your dog.

5.0 out of 5 stars It was very imformative and simple., 8 May 1999
By A Customer
The book explained simple commands "sit" and "heel" and "come." It was easy to understand and itis a non-disipilnary way of training. I trained my dog with ease.
