Covering all four TV series and the nine films, this collection of thousands of quiz questions will have fans pulling their hair out in frustration. Questions range from the straightforward to the fiendishly obscure with plenty of those infuriating, tip-of-the-tongue, I-know-that-I-know-this experiences in between. With everything from "What colour shirt did you not want to be wearing if you were part of a landing party? " to "Name Kang's wife" and "Who took command of the U.S.S. Drake after Will Riker declined the commission?" there should be something to tax even the most knowledgeable. And if the questions aren't difficult enough, there's always the fun of tracking down the misprints in the answer section at the back (there are a few, although it's largely accurate). Questions are organised thematically in nine sections, beginning with a section on each series, and one on the films. Other sections test the reader's knowledge of Starfleet, the science and technology of Trek, alien species and the families of regular characters, amongst other things. This is a book that every Star Trek obsessive will love, but be warned, once you start dipping into it, it's very hard to put it down again.
