I ordered this when it came up as suggestion from amazon and I was thrilled when I started to read it and couldn't put it down. I reckon if you read it most of us can relate to the plot, rich guy cute trick, not a match made in heaven, however hard you try. Its only 300pgs and at around pg250 the affair falls to bits big style, I was gutted and ended up reading til the end as I had to see what happened. Please Doug Guinan can we have some more....

I read this book when an American friend lent it to me in Ibiza and I could not put it down. It was like watching a movie. It made me want to go to LA, even though, in Guinan's world, everyone there is a self-centered bastard and a total jerk! I love it.

I was jumping around my apartment after I read this book. I got that same feeling you get after you'vd just talked to your biggest crush on the phone. I tore through this novel and cancelled all my Saturday night plans to finish it. I hated and loved the characters. And I recognized them which was sort of terryfing but thrilling. This is top notch gay satire and more than just a beach read. It sort of fills you with hope too. I want another one.
