I really liked this book, but it was so different to the movie!! I guess that was because it was based on the play. It was great though! I had a bit of trouble coming to terms with the fact that the T Birds were Danny, Kenickie, Sonny, Doody and Roger, and that Putzie was just an annoying kid who idolised them! Also, Sonny is totally different to what he was like in the film. There are some minor changes in the plot, but not many. Overall, I'd say it's not as good as the movie, but it's still a brilliant book and I'd recommend it to all Grease fans!

The book is quite different from the film but it is nice to here it from Sonny's point of view. I would recommend it to "Grease" fans.

THE SHOW, COOL. THE SCREENPLAY, BETTER. THE MOVIE, PERFECT. THE BOOK ABSOLUTLY BRILLIANT. AFTER READING IT YOU'LL FEEL NO NEED TO SEE THE MOVIE.
