5.0 out of 5 stars War of the Prophets? Sounds good to me., 3 Jun 2000
I do so enjoy the episodes when the toy with what you know about the Star Trek universe. Putting aside my absolute confusion over who are the True Prophets (The Phrophets, the Pah-Wraiths or the Kosst Amojan?) the book was excellent. Admiral Picard's U.S.S. Pheonix is defenitly something that should make an apperance on telly, just to see what it would look like. Characterisation in the is book was stronger than the last, as each character gets a chance to express how they feel about the way Starfleet exsists in the year 2400. And why are these books called Millenium? A millenium is every thousand years right? But this book is set in the year 2400, a mere 400 years from now, and the others are in 2300 and something? Didn't get that bit, if anyone did please enlighten me. And yet again the ending... wow.
