the story seems sound and as you prepare to see kirk solve themystery by himself its different, but theres no joy reading this book ,itseems to feed you this philosophy lecture ,making kirk and crew sound likecollege profesors, nothing like the crew your used to,dont be caught out bythe fancy cover.

1.0 out of 5 stars Oh, dear what a waste...., 19 Aug 2003
By A Customer
I found this book very disappointing even for a star trek book. Characterisation is weak, plot is thin and it is very, very boring. Don't waste your money on this one.
