3.0 out of 5 stars A light but enjoyable read, 10 Nov 2002
By A Customer
When Enterprise is sent to investigate the source of powerful subspace waves, the crew are thrown into a difficult rescue mission. The Prime Directive seems to limit the help they can give, especially with a rule-bound fellow captain also on the scene. The Klingons further complicate matters.
I found this a light read, but an enjoyable diversion none-the-less. Some of the characterisation was rather one-dimensional, particularly Scotty.
