Frank Hurley; a photographers life, is an extremely interesting, well written book. After reading this book, and I have read it twice, you just want to know more about the amazing life of Frank Hurley. Although Frank Hurley was probably not the greatest photographer he is historically a very important one. He may not have invented documentary photography or cinematography but he was very important in popularising this type of image making. The book also contains just enough of Frank's images to make you want to see more, and I would recommend that you do just that. An excellent book and I for one am extremely pleased that I bought it.
