4.0 out of 5 stars Sad but true, 17 Jun 2003
By A Customer
Ruth Cracknell, one of Australia's most well known and respected actresses, writes a wonderfully descriptive tale of when she went on a trip to Venice with her dying husband. It's a very sad story in parts, but fascinating as she doesn't cover up the emotions in anyway. Her writing style is very erratic and takes some getting used to - short sentences, broken phrases - but overall, this is a good read.
Incidently, Ruth died in 2001 which makes this story even more special to me as she has now joined her husband in heaven.
