5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST-READ FOR EXPECTANT PARENTS, 21 Nov 2003
My wife and I used this as our bible throughout her pregnancy. It's hilarious and packed with useful and practical information. It reassures and entertains at the same time.

Very clever format. You follow Kaz's own pregnancy week by week, from the mother's and the baby's point of view and her diary entries (which are often laugh-out-loud funny) are interspersed with lots of really useful tips and information about pre and post-natal preparation.

Congratulations Kaz. Thank you for brightening our lives for nearly the last nine months. This is far and away the best 'pregnancy' book we read, and we read a lot!

4.0 out of 5 stars Light hearted and informative, 11 Feb 2006
By A Customer
Kaz keeps it real with her down to earth journal entries at the beginning of each week. These are followed by serious pages of relevant info according to the week you're in. You can even keep note of how you're feeling with her sporadic pages of questions, so it may become a great keepsake too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Focuses on the negatives, 30 Oct 2009
Kaz doll, was it really all soooo hard? I cant believe you felt like a herd animal at a wee 16 weeks. I know there is a certain amount of exaggeration necessary to achieve a comic result, however maybe that is where I went wrong buying this book looking for a realistic picture of pregnancy. It is an interesting book, and perhaps it does truly reflect Kazs experience, however I doubt it reflects the experience of most women. I like the layout in that it is week by week and I am excited to read about every milestone and measurement. I will keep looking for another week by week book which is perhaps a bit more balanced and less melodramatic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good read.
I can't believe how much I'm reading this book, how much I'm learning and how much I'm laughing...I guess 'cause I'm a bloke I can laugh instead of cringe. Buy it!
