covers all essential aspects needed for a v.n's practical exams. in point form, with pictures and many diagrams this book has all you need to pass your practicals.covers radiography, anaesthetics, surgical, medical and ward nursing. it's brilliant in and out of the practice environment. it doesn't cover too many areas but focuses on the essentials and presents them in a format easy to remember and understand. written by veterinary nurses, for veterinary nurses - buy it , you won't regret it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great book for practical exams, 30 Aug 2004
By A Customer
This book is a great help for those studying for practical vet nurse exams.

I found the areas on lab tasks easy to understand as they were layed out in a bullet point fashion. The x-ray positioning section was very good as it has all the required views listed with a illustration and bullet points telling you centering, collimation points and what positioning aids to use.

This book covers very little anatomy but is excellent study aid for your practical exams

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent guide for vet nurses, 14 May 2003
By A Customer
I have found this book useful for preparing for 2nd year practical exams and portfolio case logs. It is easy to follow, with most topics condensed into bullet points. I found the lab section and radiography positions extremely helpful. The book concentrates on the practical aspect of nursing and there is little information anatomy and phisiology.
