4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for PPL wanting to learn more, 11 Jan 2002
By A Customer
This book on meterology explains so much more than the Trevor Thom PPL book: it should be well within the grasp of anyone with O level maths and the willingness to apply their minds a little.

Far more comprehensive than any other met book I have read except perhaps the Tom Bradbury one which is aimed more at non-powered flight.

I still found I wanted a bit more, hence the four rather than five stars, but short of doing a University course in meteorology this is about as good as it gets, providing you are willing to read it as a well-written text book which is how is it designed to be.
