About the Author
Valerie Sherrard is the executive director of a group home for adolescents, and has fostered more than seventy teenagers. Valerie is the author of the Shelby Belgarden Mystery series, which includes the novels In Too Deep and Out of the Ashes, which was shortlisted for the Red Maple Award. She lives in Miramichi, New Brunswick, with her husband, Brent.
