About the Author

Christopher Pike was born in New York, but grew up in Los Angeles, where he lives to this day. Prior to becoming a writer he worked in a factory, painted houses and programmed computers. His hobbies include astronomy, mediating, running and making sure his books are prominently displayed in his local bookshop. As well as being a bestselling children's writer, he is also the author of numerous titles for adults. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

Wow. This book is absoloutely GREAT! It actually changed my outlook on life. It makes you see through different eyes, and is horrific, funny, sad, tragic, and everything else. If you're looking for one of those rare reads where you look forward to getting home on a night, this one for you! Buy it!

Out of all the Pike books I have read this is by far the best. At a time when I was confused and hateing life ie 15 years old, this book came as a companion to me. I am now 18 and have read it about 50 times. All I can say is thank you Mr. Pike for saving my life.

In my opinion, this is the best Pike book I have read (and I'm still reading them). All of Pike's books have some amazing story lines and if you have never read a Christopher Pike book before, try this!
