I really like the heartland books, each one has a new challenge for Amy in getting over her mothers sad death and Amy with her family has to continue running Heartland a horse sactuary where horses can be healed from scars of the past.

In book 4, Taking Chances, there is a new stable hand to Heartland, Ben, he has had a troubled past and Lou told Amy, who was getting fed up with the way he treats his horse Red and his view to work. But Amy must understand Ben, but her friendship with Ty is getting thrown off balance for Amy must keep her promise to Lou not to tell anyone and Ty knows there is somehting being kept form him, a secret even though Ty is like one of the family. Ty may leave Heartland forever....

This is a very good book and I recommend it, but first you should read the other excellent books in the series of Heartland! Get reading!

I have not been reading heartland very long but I do have all four books. No four takes you deeper in to Amy heart than you have ever been before. The plot leads the reader around twists and turns. This book like the others had me reduced to tears. This is a book you would not get bored with. I think Lauren Brooke is an amazing author and I can't wait for book 5 to come out Come What May. I think it too with be as dramatic as the previous four

The taking chances book is very good, it is like the rest of the books in the series a very emotional one and has a lot of action. I would recommend it to anyone who likes horses.
