5.0 out of 5 stars I Love This Book!!!, 20 Jun 1999
By A Customer
This is the first book I ever read of Lloyd Alexander and I have loved it ever since. I enjoy the way each of the seemingly worthless gifts are infact so special and important.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good-But not Prydain, 29 Jan 1999
By A Customer
Prince Jen's story is engaging, and funny. It is well-written, and the characters are interesting, but it can get tedious in places. Overall I would recommend it to Lloyd Alexander fans, but it does not rise to the beauty and power of Prydain. (Which I've read 14 times).
