Product Description

From the Author

Book 5 of The Saga Of Darren Shan. Five Trials -- five chances for Darren Shan to prove himself worthy of being a vampire -- five ways to die!

But while Darren struggles to complete and survive his perilous Trials, other forces are at work deep within Vampire Mountain. Their goal: to wipe the Princes and Generals from the face of the earth!! Darren is poised to uncover a shocking conspiracy -- but will he live long enough to spread the warning???

Trials Of Death is the middle book of the Vampire Mountain trilogy. Fast, fierce and furious, this is certainly not a book for the faint-hearted! The most action-packed entry in the series -- so far!!! --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bloddy Brilliant, 25 Oct 2001
This was one of the better books. In which Darren has to face five deadly trials to prove himself worthy of being a vampire. Each trail has its own unique way of testing him and will each prove very challenging. As the story unfolds we learn more about each character, get this, Mr C has emotions! (yes the impossible has happened). We discover more about Vampire way of life and how hard it really is, but it does have its perks although they are very strange. During the book madam Octa makes some friends, prophecies come to hand and death comes on fast wings to those who are not fast enough. With an ending full of betrayal, murder and self sacrifice it is a true cliff-hanger and it's well worth it,

BRING OUT THE NEXT ONE FAST!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the most compelling and engrossing books ever written, 22 Dec 2001
By A Customer
The author of this book is a genius.(big breath) Darren Shan can write with such an amazing style and power that I have struggled to get every book as soon as possible because as soon as I started the Cirque Du Freak I became bound to this enthralling saga and I virtually LIVED the life of Darren Shan.
P.S.Darren Shan is the better than J.K.Rowling.IT'S TRUE!!!!!!!!!
