If your a fan of sci-fi comics , then you must read this ! It has it all . The impending doom of invasion by the sovs , the fight back by whats left of the mega city judges .Kick arse military hardware (just check the stub gun !). Add the humour thrown in just when its needed, laced with a compelling story line and great characters . It twists and turns and will have you itching to see what happens next . Add to that the superb art work , and the imagination that has gone into creating one of the best peices of comic/art storytelling i've read in a very long time . superb!

This is the most recent of John Wagner's mega-epics for Judge Dredd in 2000AD. Told from the viewpoints of Judges Dredd and Anderson in one book, the tale is also told from the viewpoint of the cits of Mega City 1 and ex-Judge DeMarco as MC1 is occupied. The epic had frankly fantastic build-ups with very subtle plot strands coming together. Once the action begins, however, it turns into an epic by numbers with things resolving themselves in a similar way to a couple of other noteworthy Dredd stories.

The double viewpoint is an interesting twist on the idea however. Not a must have, especially with planned 2000AD collections beginning to be published, but a fairly solid story nonetheless

Very cool story! Very bloody! Its great for all fans of Judge Dredd! The art work is wonderful! I recomend this book to any fans of 2000AD or Judge Dredd!!
