This is one of the most substantial and beautifully presented yoga books I have come across. The colour illustrations are very clear and top quality throughout,and the instructions are concise and easy to follow. This book demonstrates a wide variety of poses, each very easy to find within the book, so it is perfect for dipping into as well as flowing from one to the other if you want to read it cover to cover. This book is glossy, colourful and very pleasing to look at and read. What is more, it is sensible and do-able. I would describe this book as the Yoga equivalent of Lynne Robinsons Body Control Pilates Manual. In other words, if you're looking for a lovely, thorough and whole introduction to yoga- buy this book!

I have practised Yoga for over a year now, and I was looking for a book to help extend my skills at home, as well as attending a class once a week. I found everything I was looking for in this book.

I am by no means an expert, but this book takes you through the simplest postures, to explaining the most difficult. It is certainly comprehensive, easy to understand, and definitely a good buy!

The book is in three sections; you can choose which you want to focus on or delve into them all.

I was initially apprehensive about paying £16 for it; I planned to spend £10 at the most. This, however, appeared to be the best book, incorporating physical postures with the breathing exercises which I also wanted.

I am pleased with my purchase. I hope others would be too. This book was everything I wanted from a Yoga book and more. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, this book has something to offer everyone.
