5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent de-tox and exercise programme, 1 May 2001
By A Customer
This book is very good. It is very well laid out and encouraging. A juice fast and the subsequent diet and exercise could sound daunting but Anna explains how to best go about it, and the results promised would motivate anyone. Not only does Anna explain detox and the benefits of different fruit and veg juices, she also provides simple and delicious recipes. I particularly like the way she covers every aspect of well-being, not just diet. For example, she covers posture, a little pilates, various exercises increasing gradually in intensity, and also relaxational techniques such as breathing exercises, some yoga, and meditation techniques. As well as this she covers other methods to stimulate the immune system and generally make you feel better, such as body-brushing, hydrotherapy and massage. I never realised before how good a cold burst of water could make you feel after a warm shower! Overall a well laid out book with lots of photographs for the different exercises, and written in a way which will encourage you to stick with it. Anyone who does will see great results!
