From humble beginnings as Newton Heath LYR, through two World Wars (imagine us sharing a Maine Road with City when Old Trafford was bombed!!!), through the tragedy of the Munich disaster and the death of the Busby Babes, through Sir Matt's rebuilding and Best, Charlton, Law and company's triumph in Europe, through the long and painful wait for another championship, right up to the glory days under Alex Ferguson... nothing has been left out. Tom Tyrell and David Meek, with the help of Sir Bobby Charlton himself, have compiled a COMPLETE history of the greatest football club in the world.
