The entire concept is well thought out from beginning to end. You only have to mention the name O'Reilly and everyone understands what it means

Steve Coe, Canada Computes, Dec 2000
an exceptionally good idea.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very useful resource, 18 Jun 2001
By A Customer
The second edition of the perl CD bookshelf has the same good features as the first, searchable with a good collection of O'Reilly's excellent books. The major differences are the updating to the third edition of 'Programming Perl', the addition of the 'Perl for System Administration' book and the rather disappointing removal of the two 'Learning Perl' books. If these books hadn't been removed it would have deserved the full 5 star rating.
