Synopsis
The people of planet Virana were all but wiped out by war and natural disasters. Then it happened. A vicious heat wave threatened all remaining life. The sunshine from both suns they had always sought out and thrived on added to the devastation. Miri and Johny Soliquiy, two brilliant scientists and the only telekinetic adults on Virana, found the right answer after being inspired by their son, Jamie and Tyler and Marsha Fables' daughter, Amanda. They designed the image processor, a computer duplicating the human brain's ability to far exceed logical problem solving. The complex design could only be assembled with their telekinetic influence. Their half of the computer was to be taken to where the circuit boards were being made. It could then be started and used immediately. It would not be so easy. An unknown alien's shadow monster that cast only one shadow remotely possessed head overseer Mortimus Lowey and other friends forcing them to turn against Johny and Miri. Their friendships, personal beliefs and what they thought were immutable scientific truths were all about to be severely tested.
The race across the Castleways with half the computer to save themselves and the entire planet was underway.
