5.0 out of 5 stars Life Changing, 17 Aug 2004
By A Customer
After reading this book I felt compelled to inform others of the impact it has had on me.
For years I had considered embalming as a career choice, however, there were always doubts in the back of my mind; would it be too distressing? would it give me job satisfaction? would it be a wise career move?
Today, as I embark on my studies to become an embalmer, I give thanks to Josephine who dispelled all my doubts and fears and gave me the nudge I needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars All inspiring Embaler's must read this book!, 24 Aug 2007
By Ms. Laura Alicia Ingham "Ms Ingham" (Blackburn, Lancashire) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
JP Powells approach is heart filled and sentimental but also gives great facts and information on the actual art and process of Embalming.

As an inspiring Embalmer, I was seeking advice on not only the actual process of Embalming, but wondered about how to get into the trade and where to start.
JPs advice was to the point and equally easy to follow. She gives great tips and has obviously gained great experiences and respect within the trade.

When JP passed to become a teacher, tears stung my eyes!!

I was I was even more excited to learn she is a Lancashire lass and hope one day she writes another instalment to her life =)

I highly recommend this book.
