This is a book written with passion, and the main character, Rowena has it too. She and the supporting cast are skilfully drawn, pitting their wits against a profound evil. This author knows how to keep the reader turning the page and, together with utterly convincing settings and a powerful climax, I defy anyone of whatever age not to be hooked.
A writer to watch, be sure of that.
