The Blue Vale

A meticulous craft exudes from these poems that lures and kidnaps into a contemplative world. Beautiful jewels drum quietly in earnest to tilt the spirit to where land, sea, person and place have meaning together. Meaning gifted in landscape, lament and cheer through a seeing eye. The collection spans 30 years, although embraces much wider time still through the nature of moments.

I don't want to say that there are no superlatives to describe etc. etc. or that superlatives are inappropriate when insight accrues in private reflection. But now I've said it...
