1.0 out of 5 stars A grave disappointment, 13 Jul 2009
This is just a very disappointing 'Gothic' novel. The author does not appear to have researched mediaeval English in as much as she uses 'ye' and appears ignorant of 'thee', 'thine' and 'thou'. It is only mediaeval in so far as there are references to knights but apart from that it could have been set in any era. There are just too many historical errors. English grammar seems to have escaped the author entirely and 'innocents' does not mean 'innocence'. I would not read another book by this author.
