The types of people and varying degrees of success that they achieve in sport, has continued to interest me. I first became aware of sports hypnosis at University preparing with the Boxing Squad to fight. With success in muscle building I’d already developed techniques to encourage enhancements through the mind/body connection. However, I had yet to discover how diverse and powerful hypnosis could be. Interestingly out of ten Boxers in the squad we all reacted differently to competition pressures. How were all these experiences so different, we’d all had the same coach? How is it that some athletes attain good results over and over again when others with similar physiques and training routines just can not make the grade? The distribution of my Hypnotic CD’s through my website took my work to a wider international audience. With my unique system that includes the ‘removal of barriers to growth’ they have become best sellers. About the Author
Hypno-analyst, Success Coach and author Stephen has over a decade of experience in Sports and Mind Therapies. A former University boxer and dedicated athlete his main interests lie in performance enhancement, particularly muscular development. After University he continued his training in psychology and gained qualifications in Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. In 1996 Steve set up private practice as a Sports Hypnotist. It soon became clear that there was a huge demand for Sports Hypnosis and it was applicable to all Sporting arenas.
